Each of us posses different photographic styles and perspectives that when blended result in a variety of rich photographic imagery.

Erin Riddle
Erin received a Bachelors Degree in Art and Interior Design from Marylhurst University where she studied a variety of graphic media, including photography. She went on to receive her Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon. After graduation she took a position at a well known design firm in Portland where she served as an Associate urban designer for seven years, specializing in digital graphic design and editing. Erin's keen eye for composition and her love of the camera eventually led her to pursue a career in photography. She has photographed a wide range of subject matters including architecture, performing arts, weddings, portraits, and travel.
Kate Horton
Kate received her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon. There she joined the university’s daily newspaper and became photo editor of the School of Journalism’s annual award-winning magazine. After graduation she headed to New York in pursuit of a career in photojournalism. In NYC she served as the photo editor of ForbesTraveler.com and later worked alongside well-respected photographers and photo retouchers. Eventually she went to work for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF as their Communications Coordinator where she traveled, photographed, wrote blogs and edited videos. Now back in her native Portland, Kate has joined forces with Erin to form Parallel Photography.
